Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre

For Callie and Seth’s engagement, they braved the cold and a snowstorm resulting in more than 6 inches of snow.

We had a wild snowstorm in Colorado last week. But these lovebirds decided to have their photoshoot rain(snow) or shine.

The photoshoot started at Trading Post Trail. There were very few visitors with the snowy conditions.

The usually vibrant red rocks were a deeper brown/ burgundy hue from being wet. Though they weren’t their famous color, the scenery was still striking with the contrast of the stark snow.

Despite the freezing temperature, Callie and Seth never stopped laughing. They were down for anything: Dancing to their favorite music, having snow fights and making snow angels.

We finished the afternoon at the popular Red Rocks tunnel. The rocks were more vibrant, dusted with snow and decorated with icicles.

It was a wonderful backdrop for this playful, chilly photo session.
